Steve Winwood has had many careers in
his life so far. In the mid-sixties he wowed
the world as a teenager in The Spencer
Davis Group. In the late sixties he
resurfaced as part of Blind Faith and then
TRAFFIC. In the eighties he struck out as
a solo artist, releasing the great album
"Arc of a Diver". The artwork for the
album is tremendous, and this is a great
collectible for fans of this legendary
musician.

Blind Faith is one of the most controversial
of all albums covers. Eric Clapton insisted
on this cover or he would not allow the
record to be released. The girl used for the
cover was the younger sister of he original
girl picked for the cover. This is one of
very few cases where the cover of the
album is as well known as the music itself.

Low Spark of High Heeled Boys
This was the first album cover ever
designed by artist Tony Wright. It has
been said that this art "looks like Traffic's
music sounds", and we heartily agree. The
different shapes and textures are very
similar to how the music of Steve
Winwood and Jim Capaldi sounds. As
most people who own this record know,
the corners are chopped off. This was
done to create the cube effect that he art
was designed to portray. It worked
brilliantly! .
