The Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco may be the most famous rock and roll venue in the world. Started by promoter Bill Graham, it originally hosted the legends of music in the late 60s. Bands like The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The DOORS, Cream and countless others passed through it's doors. It was the site of some of the famous "Love-Ins" and "Acid Tests", and the artwork created to promote it's shows has become some of the most valuable poster art in the world.

Today The Fillmore is still a huge attraction in San Francisco, and is a venue that bands all over the world want to play in. Shows run year-round, and artists are busy at work designing posters to continue the rock art tradition that started at The Fillmore so many years ago. If you are looking to start a collection that will be worth a lot of money in the future, these are great posters to collect. Produced in very small quantities, they are available only at The Fillmore itself at the time of the show. This makes them hard to get and very valuable years down the line...
