Macrae is of scottish heritage and mines it for his neo-celtic and tribal style. Flourishing since 2001, Macrae is developing new ways to produce, design and display concert poster art. In the last couple of years he has also started a great colaboration with fantasy and fine-artist Ulysses.

The poster shown here is the latest colaboration between Macrae and Ulysses. Designed for the Budapest appearance of Tori Amos, this takes the beautifully intricate design work of Ulysses and takes into an alien world of symbology and a rune language invented by Macrae. Together the combination is incredibly effective.
